Aren’t you tired of religion?

Hebrews 13:11-14
12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. 13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. 14 For here we do not have an enduring city but we are looking for the city that is to come.

The reason Jesus suffered outside the gate of Jerusalem, is because he rejected empty religion. The indictment in 2015 is that too many churches are majoring in empty religion and minoring in salvation of Souls.  Too many are being invited to church services, choir annuals, anniversaries, BBQs and Picnics. Before we send out an invitation to church we should invite family members to Christ.

A couple of weeks ago my wife’s engine light came on. I told her I’d take care of it. I purposely waited a couple of weeks before moving on this. I took time to pray. I was praying whether to take it to Mazda or find a mechanic that would not charge so much. God spoke and said take it to Mazda. I then prayed for my desires according to Mark 11. I prayed to have them fix the car with no cost to me. Now the car is 5 years old, it’s out of warranty. Arriving at Mazda last Thursday, right off the bat the service guy tells me it will be 119 dollars just to diagnose the problem. My first thought was to put it in reverse and find somebody else, but God said Mazda, so I said go ahead. As I waited I prayed again, Lord what I am asking for is to have it fixed with no cost. ( I was thinking it was something minor. ) After an hour an a half of waiting the service guy came out and said they found the problem.
