IThe Beginning
Pastor & Mrs. Fennell's journey with the New Birth Community Baptist Church has been one of much prayer, steadfast faith, and trusting & obeying God. The church is dedicated to serve God by reaching out to His people through neighborhood Bible Study and with intimate prayer with God and His dedicated followers. However, every Friday night, Pastor & Mrs. Fennell can be found on their date at a local theater or restaurant. Since their courtship, they have always taken time to honor their marriage by spending quality time together.
The Journey
In 2012, our congregation out grew the strip mall location at 901 Cypress Creek Rd. and moved services to the Cedar Park Recreation Center at 1435 Main Street. By August 2014, membership reached over 100 and the recreation center could no longer hold the capacity of people arriving each Sunday to receive the word of God, God opened the way for NBCBC to meet with Pastor Wade Killough from Rockbridge Church who graciously offered the use of their facilities for our services. NBCBC first service at Rockbridge church was on September 2014.
