Giving is the greatest indicator of where our heart is with Jesus. Jesus put it this way, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also," Matthew 6:21. So our prayer is that New Birth Community Church will be a community of generous givers.

HOW WE GIVE BACK

Our giving impact others. From here at the church to around the community, we want to provide you with lots of ways to make a difference. Because you step up to serve, we are already seeing an impact in our area.  This year, because you stepped up to serve, we will impact:
  • Backpack to School | NBCBC raised $1000 to provide 50 LISD students new backpacks for the 2015-16 school year
  • MLK Day of Service | Repair a Disable Veteran home
  • Breaking All Chains | $5K raise to fight homelessness of youths that have been released from state care facilities
  • High Hope for Life |  Provide 2000 hours of career training to 500 people

YOUR IMPACT

New Birth Community Baptist Church believes that it’s our responsibility to steward God’s money and volunteer services with excellence. Resources given by our church family and partners are used to reach more people with the Gospel, but that’s not the only reason we as a church give- we give because God’s Word commands us to. It is through our obedience to God’s Word that people are reached with the hope of the Gospel.

The tithe is 10% of our income and it belongs to God. The Bible says in Malachi 3:10, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
